Step 1
Use the outcomes measurement tool to determine what metrics you should track in your evaluation for your specific type of initiative (eg a community engagement project). It also suggests that you track more or fewer metrics depending on the size of your initiative and budget you (may) have available.
If your project is funded by the NW London Integrated Care Board, there is an expectation that your evaluation will include this minimum set of metrics when evaluating your initiative.
Step 2
After you have identified which of the metrics in the NW London Outcomes Framework apply to your initiative, go back to your logic model and review whether there are other important outcomes you need to measure to evaluate your initiative. Add them to the list of metrics you need to track.
Important note
Before you use the outcomes measurement tool, make sure you complete all the steps in Stage One. In particular, you should have completed your logic model and be able to describe the purpose of your evaluation and the aims of the initiative you’re evaluating.
