Step 1
Once you have analysed your data, create visual representations of your data to help your audience understand your initiative as well as make your findings more impactful.
- Refer to the Better Evaluation Visualise data guidance for suggestions on effective ways to present your findings in the right graphical format, based on the type of data being presented.
- Use the Abelas Data Visualisation Chart Selection Tool to choose the best way to display your findings for maximum impact.
Step 2
Describe the key findings from your headline figures and charts in writing. Adapt how you present your findings to your reporting and decision makers’ needs.

Step 3
Compile all results into an appropriate report format (such as business case, research article or internal presentation). Add information for every stage of the evaluation to make it understandable and engaging. Describe your initiative’s aim and key outcomes, the methods you used and how you collected data, and summarise key takeaways and recommendations.
