Using Data for Healthcare Improvement (15 hours online with flexible schedule)
- Learn about the importance of measuring the quality of care and health outcomes so you can determine whether a Quality Improvement initiative has achieved its aims.
- Learn how data can be used to identify areas for improvement and the importance of using both quantitative and qualitative data in evaluating change.
- Learn about the specific methods for improvement compared to methods that are more suited to research, including how to design measurement schemes suitable for improvement initiatives.
Participatory Approaches in Public Health (Two months)
- Learn how to evaluate different participatory tools, assess the role of social-cultural factors in health contexts and design an approach to public health challenges. Led by Helen Ward, a Professor of Public Health at Imperial College London.
Introduction to Quality Improvement in Healthcare (21 hours flexible schedule)
- Learn about the concepts, theories and application of Quality Improvement (QI) in healthcare from a global perspective and what it means to patients, clinicians and academics. The course enables you to apply and assess core QI methods.
